"Monica provided me with insightful advice, encouragement, and guidance to write a strong Common App essay. Her feedback was clear and easy to understand. She helped me find my voice and gain the necessary confidence to truly tell my story. The great essay I submitted helped me get accepted at nine universities, including some with a less than 10% acceptance rate." -Lily Marie, Class of 2025
Hi! I'm Monica. I am a nationally certified counselor, licensed school counselor, and first-generation college graduate from the University of Michigan (go, Blue!) who has been supporting students and families with the college admissions process for eighteen years. I have guided over 800 students from diverse backgrounds through the college admissions journey from college exploration to earning millions of dollars in scholarship aid to enrolling in college. This includes developing and teaching webinars and virtual courses on college admissions for college prep programs and for international students through the U.S. Department of State. I am excited to offer this College Fit Virtual Bootcamp Series to help more students and families feel confident and prepared for the college admissions process.
